Just a suitable option for a short stay in Slaley with extraordinarily good value for money. The beef for Sunday lunch was truly scrumptious and just melted in your mouth. Consider trying their Sunday roast for a delightful meal.

What a find! The homemade food was superb, we had the sticky lamb potato cakes that were out of this world, and the desserts were amazing, especially the syrup sponge with custard. Definitely returning!

The dining experience impresses with a menu showcasing tender meats that melt in your mouth. The quaint accommodations maintain a cozy atmosphere that fits the local charm perfectly.
The rooms vary in comfort, with some sporting beds that feel like they could use a firm base instead of slats under the mattress. Heating is an issue, with limited options available so it can get quite cold at night. The breakfast timing may not align with everyone's schedule, becoming a bit of a hassle for early risers. Accessibility claims could mislead, as the advertised features don’t fully deliver, especially concerning seamless mobility options. Not to mention, external facilities like the car charger that seemed crucial turned out to be out of service for far too long.
